MIHAI TRĂISTARIU WITH "TORNERÒ" FOR ROMANIA

With an incredible vocal range, Mihai kills on this modern dance-pop track. It's a moody Italo-disco inspired bi-lingual song, with the chorus sung in Italian. "I Will Return" was clearly in a different league from the rest of the pack in 2006. But with such a tough vocal part, could the singer pull it off on stage? The answer turned out to be yes, but still something about the performance wasn't right. The styling and the choreography just didn't seem to work for the song on such a large stage. "Tornerò" managed to get 4th place, though, and I'm not surprised. Hitting those notes in the middle eight in front of 20,000 people (plus the millions watching at home) had to have been hard! I'm sure his vocal performance alone warranted a vote or two.
