Written by famous winner of the 1998 contest, this song, originally titled "Ke'ilu Kan (or "As if here"), was an impressive entry. The singer's incredible voice soars in a classic and haunting Middle Eastern melody. This song was the best bi-lingual entrant in years. Bo'az can really sing, and his song became a quick favorite that year. The semi-final performance was spot on and it wasn't surprising when Israel qualified for the final. His early draw in final may have cost him a higher score but it still remains a great example of music from the Mediterranean nation.
