BLANCHE WITH "CITY LIGHTS" FOR BELGIUM

Upon first listen to "City Lights" it was clear that Belgium had a hit on their hands. This downtempo slice of electropop heaven was definitely the best of 2017.

Blanche's song was a favorite from the get go, even though the young performer was very untested. Her performance was, however, was a beautifully staged, intimate affair. She seems afraid but pushes through, creating a sincere atmosphere with the song's already beautiful melody and lyrics. Just a perfectly crafted and thought out entry.
