Joacim Bo Persson was my co-author of the year, as this is his second song to appear in this list and on the Eurovision stage in 2017. While is first song didn't clear the semi-final, his second attempt with Bulgaria fared much much better.

A haunting pop ballad, tremendously performed by a young budding super star, "Beautiful Mess" was on the top of everyone's Eurovision lists. It not only won it's semi-final, but came second in the entire competition. It, along with Australia's entry from 2016, are sure to be counted among the most surprising and best vocal performances ever at Eurovision.

Semi-Final Score: 403 pts (1st place out of 18)

Final Score: 615 pts (2nd place out of 26)
