2003: The Weird

With his background singers seemingly stolen from the B-52s and cardboard cutouts of animals this definitely caused many folk to scratch their heads in confusion. This song in his native Styrian* dialect of German has a title that means "Man is the measure of all things."
The song is actually meant to make fun of the contest and it's lyrics are only about animals and what they do during the day. However, the song reaches it's chorus and loud guitars that turned those scratching heads even further or if you're like me, you just head bang along! I figure enough people were into it enough for it reach 6th place! *Styria is located in southeast Austria.
