BETH WITH "DIME" FOR SPAIN

I was quite enamored with this Latin flavored dance-pop song. In "Tell Me (trans. from Spanish)" Beth sings her heart out in spit-fire Spanish in a very compelling melody. I liked the song so much I learned the Spanish lyrics, I bought the single and her debut album! In the contest she performed directly after the much anticipated and controversial "t.A.T.u."

She may have gone a bit pitchy in her singing, but even Terry Wogan remarked "I must confess a sneaking regard for that!" Sadly, she may have gotten a little lost in the fray but 8th place is respectable. She later released an album called "Otra Realidad" that's filled with a less dance orientated, more sophisticated pop sound and one that I highly recommend!

Final Score: 81 pts (8th Place out of 26)
