With a captivating middle-eastern hook and a great dance routine this, song swept all others away to take the prize. "Everyway That I Can" wasn't without it's own controversy in own it's country, where the Turkish people found the song too sexy and would've preferred a song in their native language. I'm sure they surely changed their tune after she won, and her fame today is lasting.

At times it seemed like Belgium would win over both Turkey and Russia. It was a nail-biting voting procedure. With the top three places in constant flux, the winner wasn't decided until the very last country presented their votes. A very memorable winner, winning by a mere TWO points, she brought the contest her country for the very first time.

Final Score: 167 pts (1st Place out of 26)
