2015: The Worst

ELECTRO VELVET WITH "STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU" FOR UNITED KINGDOM

Unlike how difficult it was to pick the best of 2015, the worst was easy to single out. As soon as this song was announced as the British entry it was labelled their worst entry ever. The people of the United Kingdom were not behind this strange electro-folk-jazz song.

I'm amazed the song even got 5 points. Sure the lighting effect during certain bits of the song were cool. But there was no amount of staging that could not save this mess of an entry. The scat performance was such a poor, borderline insulting, mimicry of the great Satchmo, it was cringeworthy. Bad, UK, Bad! Luckily the country and the rest of Europe agreed with me.
