This soft Italian ballad came 2nd in it's National Final, the San Remo Festival. The Italians, certainly loved it a lot, it was just wasn't their first choice.

For the first time there wasn't really anything funny about the entries this year. Luckily, the hosts made up for it by presenting the funniest interval act in history, by providing a loving poke at classic Eurovision tropes.

The performance for this song is bonkers and it's all based on this crazy idea that the Belarusian broadcaster had stuck in their mind.

In a field of great songs, it's hard to really pick the one true guilty pleasure. None of the songs are cheesy enough to count as guilty.

I feel bad, cause it may seem like I'm picking on San Marino. It's just that this really was the odd man out when it comes to the 2016 field of contestants.

I am a huge fan of this genre of music. I never expected something this good to grace itself on the Eurovision stage.
